Municipal Waste Service
Timely placement of garbage, yardwaste and/or recycling bins in city rights-of-way is strictly enforced. See Medina Municipal Code 12.28.020 (I). Find pickup schedule for my address.

Nighttime Sound Levels
Permissable sound levels must be reduced between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on weekdays, and between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on weekends. (MMC) 8.06.120

Construction and Landscaping Hours
Commercial construction and development activities may take place only between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on weekdays. Professional yard maintenance and landscaping may take place only between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays, commercial construction and development activities may occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and professional yard maintenance and landscaping may occur between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No such work is allowed on Sundays or legal holidays set forth in RCW 1.16.050(1).

Housewatch Program
House Watch is offered as a public service to residents of Medina and Hunts Point. The Medina Police will make every effort to visually inspect your premises during your absence, however, by making this request you hereby acknowledge that this service creates no special duty on the part of the City of Medina, and that the service will be provided only as time is available.

Emergency Preparedness Committee/Resources
Medina’s Emergency Preparedness Committee involves community volunteers in preparedness planning in our neighborhoods. Committee meetings provide for discussion of current events, educational resources, planning and outreach efforts and updates in local and regional response exercises.
