87th Avenue NE Overlay Project 

The City of Medina is moving ahead with the 87th Avenue NE Overlay Project to improve roadway safety and extend the life of the street. The project will include grinding of existing pavement surfaces, pavement repair excavation, paving with hot mix asphalt, erosion control, roadside restoration, utility box adjustments, and other related work. 

Project Area:
87th Avenue NE (between NE 10^th Street to 86^th Ave NE)

Schedule:
Construction is anticipated to begin October 13^th and is expected to be completed by October 17^th, weather permitting. 

Traffic Impacts:
During construction, there will be temporary road closures, traffic delays, and limited on-street parking. Flaggers will be present to assist with traffic control, and access for local residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
