In a disaster, your most immediate source of help is right around you...your neighbors.
Map Your Neighborhood and learn a 9 Step Neighborhood Response Plan to follow when 911 help may be unavailable.
An important part of the Map Your Neighborhood Program is that your neighborhood will form teams for disaster response.
One of these teams will check on all homes for the “HELP” or “OK” card displayed on the front door or window.
